Treasurer's Message

The journey of Glorious Comilla Ispahanians (GCI) is not just the story of an alumni association — it is the revival of a long-cherished dream carried in the hearts of countless former students of Ispahani Public School & College, Cumilla Cantonment. Our alma mater, established in 1960 with the generous support of the Ispahani family and the visionary grant of land by the then Cantonment authority, has shaped generations of young minds with discipline, academic rigor, and a sense of service to society.

Over the decades, ex-students nurtured the hope of forming a structured alumni platform — one that would preserve shared memories, celebrate achievements, and contribute meaningfully to society. While sporadic reunions and informal gatherings kept the flame alive, it was only in 2024 that this long-standing aspiration found concrete shape. At a heartfelt luncheon on 1st May 2024 at Army Golf Club, Dhaka, a group of dedicated ex-students resolved to institutionalize this dream. Thus, Glorious Comilla Ispahanians (GCI) was born — officially registered under the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Bangladesh.

Our mission is twofold: to reconnect and strengthen the bond among ex-students, and to serve society through humanitarian activities rooted in the values we acquired from our beloved institution. GCI is committed to educational scholarships, healthcare support, emergency relief, youth leadership, and uplifting the underprivileged — all carried out with accountability and purpose.

We take pride in the democratic formation of our Executive and Advisory Committees, uniting enthusiastic alumni from across generations. This association stands not just as a social club, but as a beacon of unity, service, and pride — reflecting the legacy of IPSC.

As the first and founding Treasurer of Glorious Comilla Ispahanians, I extend my warmest invitation to all ex-students to join this noble journey. Let us rise together — not only to honor the institution that nurtured us, but also to leave a lasting impact on the world beyond its gates.
